Website privacy notice

This notice covers the website canopyinventory.com only. The Canopy Inventory Shopify app has its own privacy policy, published with its Shopify App Store listing, which explains what the app reads from your Shopify store.

Who we are

The website is run by Belvia London Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: hello@canopyinventory.com.

What we collect and why

• Sign-up form. Your email address, and your Shopify store address if you give it, plus the page you signed up on. We use them to send you the install link when Canopy Inventory is live on the Shopify App Store, and to reply if you contact us. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us.
• Analytics (only if you allow it).Google Analytics 4 sets cookies only after you choose “Allow analytics” in the banner. Until then it runs in consent mode with analytics storage denied. Lawful basis: consent.
• Cookieless analytics. Ahrefs Web Analytics counts page views without cookies or personal identifiers. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are useful.
• Server logs. Our host keeps standard request logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. Lawful basis: legitimate interest.

The calculators on this website run in your browser. We do not store the numbers you type into them.

Who processes it for us

• Vercel Inc. (website hosting)
• Formspree (stores sign-up form submissions)
• Google LLC (Google Analytics 4, only with your consent)
• Ahrefs Pte. Ltd. (cookieless web analytics)

Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations.

How long we keep it

Sign-up details: until you ask us to delete them, or until we no longer need them to tell you about the launch. Analytics data: for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to its use or withdraw consent. Email hello@canopyinventory.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
